In
May 2004, James N. Seip of James N. Seip and Associates
LLC, joined Berger-Epstein Associates, Inc.
bringing almost four decades of management, development
and construction supervision experience with regional,
national and international commercial real estate
firms. His formidable experience is supplemented
with his overall creativity, imagination and conceptual
design skills. Mr. Seip assists prospective office,
industrial and retail tenants with the layout,
fit-out and construction process throughout the
Berger-Epstein Associates, Inc.
property portfolio. He also plays a significant
role to search out and cultivate sound commercial
real estate opportunities in this challenging
and ever-changing market.
Mr.
Seip joined Montgomery Realty in November 1984
as their Director of Operations when the company's
management portfolio had only only six shopping
centers. From 1992-1999, Mr. Seip served as their
Vice President of Construction and Operations
and was directly responsible for 29 shopping centers
and a staff of over 35. Then, from 1999-2004,
Mr. Seip was promoted to the position of Senior
Vice President of Construction and Development
and oversaw all construction and development projects,
which included site development, property and
tenant rehabilitation, tenant improvements and
special projects when the company was purchased
by Kramont Realty Trust. After the acquisition
of Kramont Realty Trust by the Australian-based
REIT, Centro-Watt, Mr. Seip's more recent projects
included five major projects of new construction
and renovation of over 160,000 square feet in
Eastern Pennsylvania and Northwest New Jersey.
Throughout his career, Mr. Seip has managed over
2,000,000 square feet of projects for local, regional,
national and international builders, tenants and
landlords from conception to execution.
Mr.
Seip graduated from Delaware Valley College with
a Bachelor of Science in Business. Other work
experience of note includes being the Director
of Municipal Code Enforcement and a Property Rehabilitation
Specialist for the Easton Redevelopment Authority,
a local, public agency of the U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development. Mr. Seip draws
on his public and private sector experience which
enables him to anticipate and diffuse potential
problems often improving efficiency and reducing
related project costs.
